Ebates.com

Hey!!!

I'm just writing to tell you about the newest site I found.  It's called Ebates.com. Basically you log in and then if you are shopping online you get a percent discount back.  I thought it was a sick deal.  Especially right now because they are having double rebates.  For example, I just bought about $50 worth of stuff from drugstore.com and got $5.00 back.  I think that's an awesome deal because now I can use that money to buy new things on all sorts of websites.  There are over 500 options including Sephora, Macy's, Ulta, etc.  Check it out if you'd like.

Favorite New Nail Polish!!!

One of my favorite parts of the winter season is wearing dark nail polish.  I think it really looks classy.  I bought a few new colors yesterday that I wanted to share.  Hope you like them!!!  HAPPY DECEMBER, btw.

I got this at Sephora all of the colors are so pretty and bold.

I also picked up this Sephora by OPI grey color from the Urban Ballerina collection. I love the collection name because I used to dance. I think it will look really pretty with a sequin top.

Alright I just wanted to share those 2 purchases quickly.  What's your favorite OPI color??? Do you like the Sephora by OPI collection???

Charlotte Russe Black Friday Purchase

Well to be honest I bought a lot more, but I loved that Charlotte Russe was 30% off.  Especially because I didn't realize that until after I was already at the counter.  Here are the 3 things I bought there...they are cute and comfortable.
It's bright and FUN!!!!

I am wearing this to my best friend's Christmas party.

It's a little risque, but it is so original.  I will wear this out.  I'm gonna wait til it's warmer though.

Let me know what you bought!  Over the next few days I'll be showing the rest of my purchases, and if everything works out the cool stuff I'll also have cool stuff to show you from Cyber Monday.

Hello Kitty!!!!! and cute new clothes

Alright so last night I was online shopping (I know it's a bad habit) and wound up buying 3 really cute Hello Kitty themed items from Forever21.  It's only at F21 for a limited time so I bought stuff as soon as I could.
$17.80

$5.80
To be honest I don't wear many hair accessories, but I saw this and decided I was going to start.

$29.80
This was my crazy purchase.  I have been in desperate need of a new rain coat, and have bright green rain boots.  I figure a clear rain jacket would be really unique.

I am really excited to try everything on once it ships here!

Oh, and today I also bought a dress on www.modcloth.com
It was a little pricey, but I saw it, and figured it was a really cute buy.  With that, I think in the future I may do a modcloth.com review because lately I have been obsessed with everything vintage they have.  I actually was reading a magazine, and they had an article about the founder.  It turns out she was in college when she started the company, which I think is so inspiring.
Let me know what you plan on buying on Black Friday, and I'll definitely do a haul!

weheartit.com

Hey!!!

I just wanted to let you guys in on a new site I'm obsessing over. (Don't worry I am not affiliated. I just think it's cool)  In a sense it's like a group tumblr because people post all different types of pictures to it.  You can create an account and follow people, or simply go on the site and look around.  Basically, if you have some free time I definitely recommend checking it out. Some of the pictures are very artsy.

Forever 21 quick haul!!!

This weekend I went on a quick shopping trip to pick up a few new items for my upcoming trip to NYC.  I am so excited and will keep you posted on how the trip.

This dress was only $20.  I thought it would be great paired with a pair of tights and cute grey booties.  Hopefully I will get to wear this to a Broadway show...at least that's the plan.

I picked this up because it is so versatile.  You can wear it with flats and a button down for a more business-like occasion or with heels and a flirty top to go out at night.

To be honest the only reason I bought these jeans was because they are only $10.50.  I just couldn't believe they are so cheap.  My only complaint is that they are a little short...but for about $10 I figured it was worth it to give them a shot.  They fit well and are a great basic pair of skinny jeans.

Jewelry happened to be 30% off so I picked up these awesome earrings and a bow necklace because I am obsessed with bows.  I think both pieces of jewelry costs a total of $5.  Which I loved.

Let me know if you did any shopping this weekend.  Have a great week!

My October Favorites...

Well, I can't believe Halloween is already over and it's November!!! I figured this is as good as time as any to show you may favorite products this month.

I have just hit pan on this foundation.  I love the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse because it covers all of my breakouts.  I just ordered another one online.  The shade I get is two to three shades darker than my natural skin tone, but it gives me a natural tan which I love.  Especially, cause it looks good all year long.

Another product that is keeping my summer look.  It lightens blondes hair in 3-5 uses.  It is permanent, but I love it! I'll have a review to follow.

With the Lightening Spray comes the matching shampoo and conditioner.  I have not noticed as big as a change in hair color as the spray, but I'm sure it is helping.

This is the prettiest color!!! I have been looking for a deep purple hue, and OPI makes the most pretty shades.

A final product I'm loving is e.l.f.'s shimmer palette. I ordered it online, and I believe it was only $3.00.  I use the white shade to enhance the corners of my eyes.  I then blend the pinks to enhance my cheek bones.  It contours my face perfectly.

Well, that's my top 5.  Hope everyone is having a great start to November!!! Have a good weekend!

ADORABLE Pumpkin Picking Outfit

As we come to the end of October there is just one more thing to check off the list before Halloween...PUMPKIN PICKING.  Not only is it a ton of fun, it is great to be with your friends and outside in the fresh, crisp air.  This is why pumpkin picking season is the perfect time to show off your new, cozy fall wardrobe.  Here's some of my fave's for fall!
The colored jean trend is so cute right now.  It is a little bold, but hey, you only live once, so why not try it?
I found these in Forever21.  They also come in brown, which is another fall trend color, but I thought they were cuter in green.
This oversize sweater is perfect for toning down the bright pants.  It is really soft and looks great with a scarf.  It is a put together outfit, that doesn't make you look like you are trying to hard, but keeps you looking fashionable.  This was from Forever21.
Finally, until this year I didn't find this style shoe very attractive.  I tried these on in Forever21 (in case you haven't noticed its my favorite store!) and thought they looked really original.  I guess I have become more open about my fashion choices this year.  Which is great! When I went pumpkin picking I wore these with my jeans tucked into the top of the shoes.  I thought it added a little bit of flare to the outfit.
When I am out in the fresh air, I like to be warm and comfortable.  I loved this outfit because it was kind of off-color and certainly not what every girl would wear.  But it is still fashionable and with a scarf and some jewelry you would have the perfect pumpkin picking/fall outfit!!!

Ray Bans

This week I have kind of been on a shopping craze.  Maybe its because its getting darker earlier in the night, and I spend less time outside, or maybe there has just been a lot of cute sales online.
Anyway...lately I have been subscribing to a lot of sample sale sites, and I found these Ray-Bans for $60 off.  I have always loved how aviators look so I had to get them right away.
They were right on swirl.com which is daily candy's sample sale site.
If you would like to click to the site through me click here:

I'll let you know how they look as soon as I get them in.  If you get a pair let me know how you like them.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Hey guys!!!
In honor of breast cancer awareness month I wanted to show you my favorite 3 products that support breast cancer research.
I am in love with this cute pj set.  Forever21 is donating 10% of purchase price from all of their breast cancer merchandise.  It's adorable and cheap!!!

I got this from HauteLook.com.  It was only $15 and $10 of it went to the foundation BCRF.  It's a small way to make a difference.

My final favorite is this philosophy set.  You can get it from philosophy.com or ULTA.  $5 of the purchase goes towards research.  It's a really good smelling set.

Let me know what you think of all these products, and let me know what products to try!!!! ~liveoutloud

The SIMPLEST DIY Hair Mask EVER!

So before I just showed you some really cheap deep conditioning treatments, but if you don't want to spend the $6.50 or you want to try this RIGHT NOW, I  have the easiest DIY mask ever.  I have tried quite a few from avocado to coconut milk, but the best one I have found is Extra Virgin Olive Oil (or EVOO for you Rachel Ray fans).  Not to mention almost everyone has this lying around their homes.
If you have dry to normal hair, apply the Olive Oil to your full head of hair and then let it sit for an hour and a half.  You really want the oil to seep into your hair so it is fully nourished.  It will be pretty greasy, so if you need to, you can wrap your hair in a towel.
If you have oily hair, I would recommend only applying it to the bottom of your hair.  If you apply it everywhere your scalp will be extremely greasy.  You can still keep it on for the recommended hour and a half.
Well I hope you try this because it is so easy, and does amazing things to your hair!!!!

Hair~Deep Conditioning

So lately I have been deep conditioning my hair with the two products below.  They cost about $6.50 total from Target and are absolutely phenomenal!  My hair feels 10x stronger and is much silkier.  My hair used to be very damaged because I wear it up a lot, but not anymore.

If your hair is very damaged, I would apply it two to three times a week.  If you are just looking for a silky, healthy shine then once a week should be fine.  You will notice an incredible difference.  If you don't want to go out and buy the products, look for my next post about DIY hair masks.
Have a good night and ~liveoutloud

Favorite New Shoes

So it has been a really REALLY long time since I have last posted, but I saw these shoes in Forever21 and  decided I had to share them.  They are super high heels which I love, and they look great with a cute tunic top and skinny jeans.  They're under $30, and I feel like I am going to wear them all the time.

Okay, well that was just a quick post.  I'll come back tomorrow with what I am using everyday to shop for designer budget items!!!  Thanks guys.  ~liveoutloud

Super Cute Brunch Outfit...inspired by Blair Waldorf

Alright sorry it has been so long since I posted my first entry...school is just around the corner so I have been quite busy.  Anyway I have been really excited to show my inspired Blair Brunch look because I think it is so cute and perfect for anything from an Easter Brunch to a lunch date with the girls.  For those of you who do not know what the outfit looks like it is right here...
Unfortunately her outfit is way to expensive for my college budget, but I have found a few simple chic alternatives that make just as cute of an outfit.

White lace dress www.hm.com only $34.95

Peep toe shoes www.agacistore.com $32.50

Fishnet tights. www.forever21.com $5.80
Black or grey.  I really like how the grey looks.

Upper east side bracelet.  www.forever21.com
$5.80

This is the basic look for Blair.  For the full look I would loosely curl your hair and add a white miss matched lace headband.  You can also add more pearl bracelets and a pair of earrings.

So that's the whole outfit for under $100.

Hope you liked it.  Let me know if you want anymore Gossip Girl or other show's outfits.

Welcome...

Hey.  First thanks so much for visiting my blog.  It means so much that you are willing to visit, now that I finally have the courage to start a blog.  I figure worst case is that it will be one of the millions that is never read by anyone but myself.

But anyway, I created LiveOutLoud14 due to my love of travel, adventure, and shopping celebrity inspired and vintage outfits on my very limited budget.  I am a college student studying Economics so hopefully the more I learn, the more I will be able to share about personal finance, budgeting, looking great on a budget, and most importantly going out and trying new things on a budget.

My first look is going to be from Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl.  It is from the Pretty Wild Brunch episode.  I was obsessed with that dress and have finally found one that looks really similar.  More to follow...continue to LiveOutLoud
