Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

This product is definitely worth a shot!  I was able to test this as well through influenster.com (for everyone who follows my blog my regular posts will come back soon after these reviews)

This is an affordable way to get a manicure if you can not afford to go to the saloon.  It was quick and easy, and it lasted a full week for me.  If anyone has questions let me know.  It costs between $6 and $8 at local drugstores.  There is a variety of solid and pattern prints.  My favorite part is that it is helping my nails grow because I am unfortunately a nail biter.  If I can't get to them, I can't make them worse :)

You can check them out here: http://impressmanicure.com/

NYC New York Color Show Time Glitter Eyeliner

So I was lucky enough to snag a few products by filling out information on influenster.com  No, this is not a scam, it's just an awesome social network that allows you to try products depending on how active you are.

I really enjoyed this eyeliner.  First of all it is really inexpensive so I can actually afford to buy it.  I am not a huge eyeliner person, but this liner was creamy and applied very well.  I think for the price it is worth it for everyone to give a shot.  I believe it retails for $2.49 and I am sure you can get it on sale at CVS or somewhere. :)  Check it out here: http://newyorkcolor.com/

Dino Lingo Language Learning

So I was scrolling around Influenster.com recently (check the post before) and I came across a great gift for my younger nephew.  Dino Lingo is a DVD language learning program for kids.  My next door neighbor watched a preview with me and said "this looks awesome!", but in a much more adorable little kid voice of course.  If you would like to try the Spanish version like we did, here is the link: http://dinolingo.com/languages/spanish.html#.ULggo-TXZiY

I believe this is a fairly new product, but I think it makes a great Christmas or other holiday present.  It helps children learn a new language in a fun and interactive way.  If anyone else has tried it let me know.  I think I will buy it and test it out with my nephew.  Who knows maybe he'll be fluent in another language after it?
Disclaimer: We got to check the free sample through influenster.com
Have an awesome day!

Bath and Body Works Candles

Hey guys!!

(picture from bath and body works website)

I just lit a brand new Bath and Body works candle in scent Frosted Cranberry, and decided I had to talk about how much I love these candles.  Now personally, I do believe they are a tad bit expensive.  I wanted to get 2 for $20 large candles so I had to spend the same amount of money on the medium size...which was unfortuante.  I still love them though.  They last for a decently long time.  I also abolutely love the new Yankee Candle I bought.  They came out with Christmas scents and I am using the Christmas Magic one.  I know it is way to early for christmas, but I can't help it.  These candles are keeping me happy through the hurricane.  I wish you could smell how good this candle smells right now.  Do you like bath and body works candles? How about Yankee Candles?  What's your favorite scent?

Eyeliner I am loving now

Hey guys!!!

So I have found a new eyeliner favorite.  For the longest time I have not tried cream liner because I have struggled with applying even pencil liner.  If you have watched many of my tutorials you have probably seen this.  I normally skip eyeliner and put on a lot of mascara, which is no bueno.  So I decided to take a chance on e.l.f cream eyeliner in black because it was only $3.00.  In my opinion, that is beyond a steal. I figured if I couldn't apply it I could lose the $3.00.  Anyway, I absolutely love how it applies and it is so easy.  I may try higher end cream liners in comparison later, but for now I am LOVING e.l.f.  Let me know what you guys think of different eyeliners :)  I think I am going to try to go to Ulta and Sephora to try a few different ones including MAC, Benefit, Smashbox, and maybe even Chanel.

Already Starting to Think about School

Hey!!!

So with August right around the corner, I am back to thinking about my new school purchases.  Besides all the notebooks and school supplies I need, I was beginning to think about some new clothes items I need (just kidding, want).  First off, I need new skinny jeans.  I probably own like 10 pairs right now so I can get away with just one new pair of jeans.  I found these on AE.com for about $35.  That's pretty good.

I also really wanted a pair of Tom's shoes.  I think they are the perfect combination of stylish and comfortable.  For the most part they are under $50 which is great.   I love how they look with skinny jeans, summer dresses, and shorts!

The final thing right now I really want would be a pair of Tory Burch flats, but they are like $250 and I would need to give it to myself as a Christmas present.  That would be a long time from now haha.  What is on your back to school list? Is it too early to start looking?  Hope your summer is still going strong!

Finally joining the world of Ebay

First off, I apologize for not being around recently.  I was on a trip for my college the last month.  It was absolutely amazing, but left no time to get on the computer and post updated information.

Now, on to my new obsession.  While we were away my friend was saying how his family uses Ebay for everything, from Christmas presents to necessities.  I have always been afraid of using Ebay because I didn't want to be scammed, but I finally decided to give it a shot and bid on 2 items.  One I lost (poor cowboy boots), but the other one I won!!! It was a small Vera Bradley bag. It was so exciting and instantly gratifying.  Hopefully within the week I'll be able to show you what it looks like, but for now this is what it is SUPPOSED to look like.  Does anyone else use Ebay?? Any tips? Hope your summer is fabulous!

Lush Products!!!

Hey girls!
I know it has been forever since I updated you guys, but I am going to start doing youtube beauty videos in the next couple of weeks, so I have been a little busy.  Anyway, I bought 4 new lush products that I am absolutely obsessed with...

This is the comforter bubble bar, and I love it! I have gotten this 4 different times.

This is a butterball. I haven't tried it before, but I will let you know what I think.

This is a solid shampoo in flavor Godiva.  I have wanted to get a solid shampoo for a really long time, and I liked that this one was called Godiva.

The last thing I got is a little more expensive, but it's not for me.  One of my good friends birthdays is coming up, and she loves lush so I picked this up for her.

Anyway, that's all I got.  Hopefully, I will start my YouTube channel in the next 2 weeks or so.  Have a great day!

Favorite New Lip Color

Hey girls!

I just wanted to let you in on my new favorite lip color.  It is the YSL 107 Impetuous Beige.  Yes, YSL is expensive, but it is really worth the price.  I would only buy one new one a year or so, but it is so creamy.  It completely hydrates your lips.

If that's two expensive you can always use the Revlon Lip Butters, which are great!  They are also so much less expensive.

Love you guys!!

March Haul

Hey girls!!! Sorry its been so long! I didn't spend any money on make up this month which was my goal so I am actually really proud of myself.  Well anyway I finally decided to buy a few things because I leave for spring break in Hawaii in 5 days! What are you doing for spring break???

Here's some things I bought for the trip:

This dress was $25 from Forever21.  I love it, I think it will look absolutely gorgeous with wedges.

This is on Sephora right now for $12.  It is a sample tiny size (.24 oz), but I feel like it will still last a while and is cheap for its size.

The last thing which I am sorry is so blurry is a physicians formula bronzer.  I figured I needed to add a little faux glow for Hawaii.

Alright so yea, I was really good about not spending too much money for spring break, but I still need to go
to Target to get more stuff, so look for another haul tonight.  Talk to you girls then. Love ya!

China Glaze Hunger Games Edition

I have been obsessed with the Hunger Games book series, and I can't wait for the movie to come out!  What got me really excited was that China Glaze made a Hunger Games edition nail polish collection.  If you know anything about Hunger Games the collection is called 'Colours from the Capital' which is just so fitting.

I want to buy the whole collection! But I have to wait to spend money as you guys saw in one of my other posts.  The first 3 colors I think I am going to buy are stone cold, dress me up, and electrify.  They look so pretty.
What are your favorite colors? Would you buy these?

No Spendruary/I'm Broke

Hey!!

I recently was on elleandblair.com and saw how Elle didn't use any new products for 7 weeks.  I want to do a similar challenge to save up some money for my spring break trip next month.  I feel like I have plenty of products that I should be using, but I don't.  Like Elle, my exception will be gifts.  If someone gives me something since I did not spend money, I will be allowed to use it.  I feel that this is a good way for me to start saving up.  Wish me luck! And let me know if you want to join in this adventure/challenge.  Love you guys.  Don't worry I'll still be posting things I love and will hopefully start doing makeup tutorials.  See you later.

~liveoutloud

PS Let me know if there is anything else you would like to see me doing.

WeHeartIt Fridays

So I know I have talked about weheartit.com, but I think every Friday I want to post up some of my favorite pictures from the week.  I think they are all fun and cute.  All thanks to the people who post on weheartit.com of course!!!  Let me know what you think!

Happy Friday!

Ebates...again

Alright, I just wanted to let you know I received the credit for the free $10 Target gift card after a $25 purchase on ebates.com.  I needed the new stuff I got from this haul http://liveoutloud14.blogspot.com/2012/01/beauty-to-get-ready-for-beach.html so I figured it was a good idea to go through ebates to do it.  Now I am going to be receiving a discount check back which is great.  I am in no way sponsered by them, I just wanted to share a great way to get some money back on purchases because I have been tight on money lately.  And every dollar counts haha. Well let me know if anyone has tried it, and if you want to sign up you can go to ebates.com or click this link: http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=UaaEaQ3SogzgAD%2FIQdISWg%3D%3D  It is FREE to join!

I also told my mom about the site, and she uses it all the time.  So it is TOTALLY mom approved! haha

Quick Sephora Buy

Well, it's officially Friday!!! Thank goodness.  This week seemed to last forever, but as a pick me up I just ordered the Nars Wicked Attraction Set from Sephora.com.  It looks so pretty.

It has my favorite blush/bronze set in orgasm and laguna.  As well as a few other mini size products I want to try.  It was only $49.  I hope it's worth it, but I really wanted a special treat!

Do you girlie's ever splurge at the mall or online after a hard week at school?

Beauty to Get Ready for the Beach

Heyyy!

I know I haven't written in the longest time, but I finally have a short haul of new products I got to get ready for the beach.  I realize that it is only January, but all of the sudden I am so so SO ready for summer.

I finally got up the nerve to color my hair.  My natural hair color is pretty similar so it won't be a huge change, but it is one of my fears, so I feel I finally I need to give it a shot.  I'll post before and after pics when I do it.

Alright so I also bought Jergens lotion.  I have used it before, and I love how natural it looks.  It takes about 2 weeks to get darker, but its worth it to get ready for my trip to Hawaii.

I also got the matching face lotion.  Hopefully, it will be better for my skin because it is less oily.

I re-bought this because I absolutely loved it.  It naturally lightened my hair while I blow dried and straightened it.  It also is a heat p protector.  The only problem is it runs out fast so I really should have got 2.

Well that was it.  I am trying really hard to not buy any new make up til I hit pan on a few products, but I'm sure I'll give in soon.  Have a great day ~liveoutloud

2000 Views I can't believe it!!! Thanks to everyone who has checked out my blog.  New haul blog is coming out tomorrow.  Love you all ~liveoutloud

Back To Beauty-Sephora Style

Hey Hey! I have to apologize that my last few posts have nothing to do with cute clothes and beauty products.  But without further a do I just wanted to share a few of the little beauty gifts I got for Christmas.  I adore them and realize that I am a little to obsessed with Sephora kits...you'll see what I mean in a minute!

This is the lash blast kit and it is $32 right now.  I am obsessed with mascara at the moment...to the point that I am worried for myself.  Needless to say I believe that this kit has it all.  I love trying mini sizes especially because it quickly helps me weed out the ones that I do not like!

I needed a straightener for bangs and this mini one is perfect! It was only $9.  I also think I am going to use it while I travel.  Though I worn you that it will take longer than usual to straighten your hair since it is a mini-size.

The last thing I got was the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette.  I loved the first one and decided it was worth a shot.  I'll let you know what I think later.

Hope everyone had a great holiday!!! Let me know if you have any favorite Sephora products.  ~liveoutloud

New Year's Resolutions

First things first!!! I emailed the winners of the contest. I put this info in their emails, but if they don't respond by the 15th of January I'll redraw for a new entry.  So congrats and hopefully I will be hearing from you two shortly!

Anyway here are my 3 new resolutions
1. To run a marathon
2. Stop biting my nails (its a disgusting habit that I CANNOT stop...until now)
3. Always wash my face at the end of the day. NO sleeping with make up at night.
4. Learn to play the guitar.
5. Get at least 75 subscribers to my blog by August 2012 (I started my blog in Aug. 2011) and I'll need your help on that one haha

What are your resolutions???
